2010-2011 State Individual Championships

WLAC Summary

• 15 athletes attended
• A total of 33 events were contested by these athletes.
• 9 medals were won; 3 Gold, 6 Bronze.
• Of the 33 events contested, athletes achieved a Personal Best Result in 18 events.

A very successful result for the club and a fantastic performance by these athletes.

Peter Stefanoff – Throwing Award 2010-2011

Achievements

• Kosta has attended all but one of WLAC meets and attended Regional Day
• Kosta represented Woodville at the State Individual Championships in Javelin and Shot Put after qualifying for the events 21 times throughout the season
• He achieved the following results throughout the season
  • Shot Put     14.00m
  • Discus        30.37m
  • Javelin        40.86m
• Kosta threw a PB in Shot Put of 14.0m at SIC’s where he won the gold medal and threw a PB in Javelin of 40.86m where he also won gold.

Achievements

• William attended 89% of Club meets and represented Woodville at the Relay Day.
• Achieved 39 PB’s and 4 equal PB throughout the season.  Consistently improved each week across all disciplines.  Accumulating a total of 101 points for the season.
• As part of his commitment to improve his performances, William regularly attended the training sessions held on Wednesday evenings.
